Lalaine Villafuerte-Abonal graduated with a degree in Economics from the University of the Philippines. She is the president of eAsia Outsourcing & Marketing Services, and founder of Coconut Republic - both companies are based in California. Lalaine has 12 years of experience as a buying agent representing foreign buyers and was elected as the youngest officer and board of director of the Foreign Buyers Association of the Philippines. She specializes in the sourcing of products made of indigenous materials such as abaca, coconut, bamboo and capiz shell. Other books authored by Lalaine are: “101 Lessons of A Buying Agent of Foreign Companies” and “IT Outsourcing Opportunities in the Philippines” Lalaine and her husband Larry presently reside in Pasadena, California.
